Hooray Hooray!

The chapter is done.

Sort of.

I need to set it aside for a few days, give it a good going-over, and then send it off to the more critical eyes of my advisor.

And what better way to put some distance between the chapter and me than a fun fun Cinco de Mayo? A dear friend from junior high is coming into town and we predict a night of pleasant conversation over margaritas at the house of a mutual friend in Brentwood.

Also on the list of weekend activities is the probable purchase of a new mattress, brunch with friends, and the opening of a joint account for me and my honey. Fabulous!
